Robbery Incidents

On January 14, 2025, at around 7:00 p.m., a robbery occurred at a general residence in Choshi City, where the perpetrators held the victim down and covered his mouth with duct tape. The perpetrators, of whom there were several, fled the scene.
In order to avoid being burglarized, it is important to take the following crime prevention measures:
lock your doors and windows even when you are at home
do not keep large amounts of cash at home
and call 110 immediately if you see a suspicious person or vehicle or receive a suspicious phone call.
Do not respond directly to suspicious visitors or calls, but call 110.
